My Lover Toy - How To Get A Hit Movie With Somebody Elses Work.

I have lost count of how many times Katia has deleted me trying to tell viewers and visitors at NM such as Ruff, and Pelon, and hundreds of others who are under the impression, due partly I'm sure to her broken English, that she never made the movie "My Lover Toy" . She claims she is not intending to take credit for it and has informed everybody via her comments. This message seems lost in translation,  and in addition she seems to be happy to sit back and accept the praise by guys like Ruff, and be happy for Emanuelle to blog her, clearly believing she had made this film. Without setting any of them straight. I do not believe any of her comments have made it clear she never produced this movie.

We use NM to upload our own movies, if you are not going to credit a creator on your movie, or clearly credit them in the description, i don't believe it's fair. Katia has clearly mislead people with this movie. She has removed all my attempts to pass on this information.

This animation has been doing the rounds since 2008 at least, I'd seen it many times over the years, it is widely distributed online, on porn video sites, and 3d animation porn sites.

Last week, i considered stopping the Box Office feature due to fixed views, and boosting by refresh, i really don't want to add uploads of other peoples movies, to the list. along with that, and alt accounts to rate movies higher too, it's getting impossible for a new producer especially to stand out.

To think this video may get more credit, more views, and Katia may recieve more attention and praise than somebody like Pixie Rain, with her magnificent "Showdown" just makes me concerned.

I am giving her the benefit of the doubt, and i'l lsay publicly i'm willing to believe she never set out to claim this as her own. However, she's done nothing to put the record straight, and refused my offers to post a notice stating her apparent true intentions.

So, here's a proper movie, by somebody worthy of high praise and congratulations.

I was very lucky to receive a advance copy of this movie earlier this week. From the very first shot i loved it.

The warm sunset, and long shadows all serve to make it a beatiful romantic setting. It was a well constructed movie set, and all the elements combined, i felt really took you there. ( Krystal got taken there..again and again by the looks of it! )

I entered into the porn scene at around the same time as JD, me as a director/actress, him as a actor. I was also lucky enough to star in his directing debut. JD is a wonderful director to work with, patient and laid back, but still with an eye for detail and desire to make things as good as he can. JD is really evolving, and i feel anybody watching this film would say beyond doubt JD has really found his style, and well and truly found his feet as a director. Another plus for the audience here, is JD's use of a High Definition uploaded video. Due to the increased detail, and colour palette of HD video we are able to enjoy more subtle lighting effects and it gives JD lots more scope on the more artistic side, allowing him to use a wider range of lighting too, which may have been lost, or even make for hard viewing on a small embedded, or low quality screen window.

This production really saw great use of the viewer. When we talk about effects, it's not to showcase showing off for the sake of it, or undermining those who cannot do so. They come to the fore front and add the icing on the cake if they enhance the scene, or aid story telling. You can make a fantastic movie without these top of the line viewer effects, or post production effects. In Hollywood terms, a classic from the 1950's will still beat a very average CG effects laden movie from today. You can have style, and put effort in and create something special. It's just fortunate that Director's such as JD can manage both here in "Stranded".

We are treated to some lovely angles, scenes here. Some very artistic and creative, such as those shot through the lace drapes. Both avatars really suite each other, it's not often you can say a couple on a SL movie seem to have chemistry or look so right together, but Krystal and JD looked fantastic and looked wonderful together, making the whole picture very natural and beautiful.

Congrats JD..We all want more!

Box Office - The Last 7 Days.

Hi all...

Yes, i pulled the plug on the "Box Office" project, i still share, and hold some of the views, and have sympathies, which led me to choose to take it down. No fingers were pointed exclusively at producers, this could be fans, friends, cast members, or anybody allied with the production. Anybody can  "massage the views" and cause upset. I do know many producers put so much into a project, and it's a huge insult to see it eclipsed by something else due to unfair means. I would like to level the playing field, and feature more movies here on merit, outside of the Box office feature. If my RL and SL  permits i will continue to review what i see as quality, or innovative movies here, by new and established producers.

However, I have had a big response from people this week telling me how much they enjoy the Box Office feature, and i have been urged to bring it back. Even people who agreed with my choice to pull the plug have told me how much they enjoyed it.

Serenity Tweaks

I have decided to bring it back in a tweaked format. Only the top 5 movies will be presented in a chart form. The rest of the movies featured in this segment will not be listed in any order, they will come under the title "Also Trending This Week" The order they appear on the blog will have nothing to do with their views. Today i won't feature these Trending movies due to RL commitments though.

The reason for only ever featuring a top 5, is. I feel more confident these movies would be the favourite movies of the week no matter what. Once we got down to number 8 or 9, or 10 on the old chart we were into some very close and controversial inclusions for example. Also, any particularly undeserving movie which does find itself in the top 5, may itself betray some form of cheating and serve to highlight the problem. I'm sure i would not be the only person to say.."hmmm hold on a minute!?" . The top 5 movies should be there for all to see as deserving of their rank.

So, now, if i feel a great movie was just edged out through whatever means,  i can include it. It's good i have no firm, or rigid top ten, i will pick these movies based on views and other qualities at my own discretion. Hopefully this helps. ( Ironically, i usually love firm and rigid. )

I would like to pass on my apologies for adding to some problems faced by fellow producers. I do appreciate these frustrations. I have taken down all the "Box Office" posts in response to this.

Keeping an eye on these movies and their views preparing to do my thing on the chart each Saturday morning, has meant I have also noticed very big and irregular jumps in movie views in a matter of minutes, or seconds. Therefore i agree, and feel it's very unfair to promote a movie based on views over another. It was a fun thing, but it can be hard to make a name for yourself, and i can understand that this Box Office Chart could be making it even harder still.

CareHome - Saffo Alvarez

Where do you start with "Carehome" !? I pretty much watched it..very much like it's super sexy star "Diane" did throughout the movie..Open mouthed!!!

It's a complete sex crazed riot! It's anarchic, and crazy, but also a quite a lot of fun. One thing you can say, it's a very strong unique concept, and large numbers of cast mean the directing involved to make it all work is increased. So congrats for that.

Diane for me stole the show, an absolutely perfect look for this movie. Smoking hot! Curvy, sexy, and looks to get guys of any age going ( As is proved here! ) . I bet that care home managed to slash its Viagra bill! Had this movie been made with the wrong person it would not have had the impact it has. From the first shot on her bike, she looks every bit a true porn star.

I don't go in for negatives on Stripped and Teased, i focus only on good points, and tend to only feature what i feel will be popular, or what i consider to be high quality movies, and as updates are not so frequent here..My main hope is they will have a little longer in the lime light. This movie appears in what seems to be a little golden spell for SL Porn. We've had some real gems lately, From Deelite, Rysan, Hard Rust & Co, Nikolas Frederix, and Rayven Baily. Saffo i feel has personally taken a big step forward with movies like this. He seems to have taken on board the fact that maybe putting half a dozen quickly produced movies worth of effort and time into one project produces great results.

This movie pitted itself against recent voice acting productions, i can say if this had voice acting it would have gone from an ambitious project to an absolutely impossibly huge undertaking, and on into the realms of a very long production time. There is lot's of dialogue here, and of course the old guys in the cast would have required amazing voice acting performances, which is why i feel there will always be a place for text based productions. Even though i wish to experiment with voice in movies, i hope the day never comes that movies like this cannot be made due to a voice monopoly. It could only water down the diversity and spontaneous projects which can spring up and delight the community.

Having said all that, the text has to be paced nicely, placed correctly, and maybe the addition of drop shadow which allows it to be clearly seen against any back drop light or dark, is needed.

This particular batch of dialogue matched the crazy visuals nicely.

Any movie which clearly displays planning, effort, fun, originality, and a strong concept or story, along with of course...well choreographed, filmed, and executed sex! Is worthy of a lot of credit within the scene. Congrats to the team for bringing us "Carehome" You brightened up a lot of monitors!

Cowboy XXX - Nikolas Frederix

Nikolas Frederix directs a stunning cinematic style porn movie, featuring Nastya ( Resident ). 

I have to start by saying i've never seen such  a smooth looking movie in its animated movements, the scenes show real depth too, and the use of shadows on the viewer make the scenes even more full and rich, shadows are a feature which can cause many others to lag, but here it's taken in its stride.

The shadows are probably the most eye catching feature, but i also loved the changing focal length effect of the picture. Which mimics RL movies. The effect where either the foreground, or background is in focus at the expense of the other. This is the case on all hollywood movies and TV shows, and it add's the cinematic feel to Cowboy XXX.

Visually, and on the audio front this movie excels. Wonderful sex sounds play out to Fatboy slims remix of the Wiseguys "Cowboy '78" which suits the whole mood perfectly.

This is a case of the director making full use of SL to truly "Direct" a movie. He has stamped his style on it. Nikolas's photography background is surely a contributing factor to some of the great angles, and framed scenes.

The sex...Mmmm..dreamy! Just how you want your outside the bedroom sex..passionate, steamy, and intense ( or is that just me!? ) Nastya looks hot. I love the way the slow, lazy style of the opening acts as a long tease for the viewer, showing off her body and letting her sexy AO stand work up the audience, captured by a wonderfully shot montage of scenes as the prelude to the action.

That is one lucky cowboy! ( and she's the reason i'm wearing tight jeans and a vest top today in SL! )

Seducing Santa - Rayven Baily

Make way for the High Def Princess! Is this where the term "eye candy" came from?

Not for the first time, we see here a girl getting off, alone, at home. I remember one doing it to Justin Beiber! And who could forget Deelite's Phone fun!?

If you are going to do this. you need great visuals, and a good concept woven in. ( if you plan to capture it on film that is, if just in general...go for it any time!!! )

As with Aurora's movie review the other day, i have picked up on the fact here that Rayven is using a whole new suite of software. Windows movie maker is a great entry tool ( yeah..i used the words.."entry"..and "tool" in a sentence...grow up! :P ) into the world of machinima, it lets you spread your wings and learn all you need to know. Top class editing is top class, no matter if it's done on budget or on top of line programs, like Sony vegas, or Adobe premiere. However it can if used right elevate your skills to the next level. In the hands of a creative director it can be a key to unlock some special future projects. Here Rayven is pretty much expressing herself, showing us what she can do and exploring new software...She's been very thoughtful and let us have a look too! The professional look of this movie is there for all to see as a result.

Seducing Santa delivers much of Rayven's trade mark humour, some funny sequences, which i loved. Another director who likes to link Sex and fun! These of course go together like..chocolate, cream, and strawberries!

This movie sets out to do all it intended. From the viewing public point of view, it's a sexy little show that teases, a dance routine with some fun, and plenty of jokes along the way.

Wearing my director's hat, it's a technology demonstration, and a chance to experiment for Rayven. She has no doubt discovered that with an upgrade in software you can use many features to aid your story telling, not just wowing with visuals, many effects here are subtle. These techniques can be over looked by the viewer, but all add to the final impression.

One example was in the movie, Erotique Paradise Isle, where none of the men met on set, they were all filmed one at a time, yet they appear together in the same scenes. Just like Hollywood, some of the effects and techniques pass you by without you even knowing you're seeing some special effect or scene enhancing technique's at work. Which is the case here, it flows and just paints a fun and in this case a very sexy hot picture along the way.

I have to reserve a final "Wow" for the presentation of this movie online. We've all been disappointed of late, especially those of us who have worked hard on projects and had to see them looking less than spectacular once uploaded, or of course looking ok with 80% of the movie missing off the end! This looks fantastic. If one thing can improve on a naked girl covered in chocolate, it's seeing it all in HD!

I think you'll agree, in screen shots, and the embedded movie below. This movie looks fantastic, and along with Ruff Broco's recent projects, is showing producers the way to showcase their work.
